David L. Pinsinski, MD

After graduating from Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr. David Pinsinski completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver and became board-certified in Internal Medicine. Following 14 years of hospital medicine practice, Dr. Pinsinski pursued a fellowship in the treatment of venous disease and minimally-invasive aesthetic surgical procedures.

Today, Dr. Pinsinski leads Artemis Colorado Vein & Cosmetic Center as one of Colorado’s most respected phlebologists. His extensive experience provides him with a profound and unparalleled understanding of varicose veins, spider veins, and the underlying venous diseases responsible for these often undesirable and painful issues.

As part of his commitment to remain at the forefront of his field, Dr. Pinsinski continues to undergo advanced training in the latest techniques in phlebology and aesthetic medicine.

Gene Moore, our Registered Vascular Technician, is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. in Health Education. He started his ultrasound career over 22 years ago in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Gene has worked in hospitals from Thibodaux, Louisiana, to Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida.

In the mid-1990s in Tampa, Gene started treating veins. Since then he has worked in vein centers in Asheville, North Carolina, and in Boulder, Denver, and Fort Collins, Colorado. He has performed thousands of scans for venous disease, and brings that experience and discernment to our clinic.

Gene treats all patients as family and takes pride in assisting in their treatment and care. To stay current on the latest medical treatments and techniques, he remains actively involved with the American College of Phlebology and the Society of Vascular Ultrasound. Gene enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and traveling to new areas of Colorado with his wife, Tracey.

Lisa Alexander, our Certified Medical Assistant, is a graduate of Front Range Community College. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in the medical field and assists the doctors by checking vitals, measuring patients for compression stockings, and providing pre- and post-treatment instructions.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and visiting new places.

Stacy Lumbard worked for 10 years as a hospital respiratory therapist in Minnesota and Florida before moving to Colorado in 2005. For the last six years she has worked as a part-time receptionist, and is now welcoming patients at Artemis with her great smile. When you call Artemis, you’ll hear Stacy’s friendly voice greeting you, and she’ll help schedule your appointments and discuss payment plan options. Stacy loves helping people and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Stacy loves Colorado’s great outdoors. She stays busy hiking, camping, and being a spectator and cheerleader at sporting events for her three children.

He’s also the person making sure the lights stay on in the office and handles all things administrative, from insurance to cost estimates, billing and collecting.

In his free time, Trent enjoys mountain biking in the Denver Foothills.
